THE POSITION:

Holistic Physician (MD or DO) - Brighton – Full-time (No weekends)

We are seeking a Primary Care Physician with a Holistic Medicine background.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Your caseload would be a mixture of adults and pediatric patients, serving the families as their primary care provider (PCP). 
  • The patients coming to TOC tend to be holistic-minded and would prefer to not go the route of traditional healthcare. You will treat your patients using more natural techniques and practices, focusing on what the body requires, while reducing pharmaceutical use.
  • The center includes growing programs including hyperbaric oxygen therapy (medical grade), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Neurofeedback, Medical Consultation, and full research team.
  • Conducting detailed examinations of patients, including physical exams and psychological evaluations
  • Performing diagnostic testing such as blood tests and cultures to find the underlying cause of symptoms
  • Discussing the risks and benefits of all treatment options with patients to make an informed decision about their care
  • Prescribing and administering treatments and therapies such as botanical remedies, homeopathic remedies, diet changes, exercise recommendations, and lifestyle counseling aimed at improving a patient’s health and wellbeing
  • Providing counseling services in cases where mental health issues are present in conjunction with physical illness
  • Performing chiropractic manipulation or other manual therapy to relieve musculoskeletal pain or dysfunction

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Background and interest in holistic medicine
  • Experience developing and overseeing an Infusion Clinic
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Active listener with good character
  • Strong knowledge of natural medicine
  • Strong clinical and analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented and exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Ensure compliance with company policies
  • Able to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Organized with strong follow-up skills

Education and Experience:

  • MD or DO 
  • Licensed in the State of Michigan
  • Minimum 3 years of family practice experience
