POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Program Clinical Manager, the Clinician is responsible for providing a variety of advanced level psychosocial interventions to clients of all ages. Services may be provided in an individual, group or family therapy setting. Services are provided within an environment that is sensitive to the full spectrum of mental health, co-occurring and trauma-based issues. Agency clinicians contribute to the achievement of program goals, client goals and strategic goals of the organization.
ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS:
· Provides ongoing therapeutic counseling and other interventions in accordance with the ITP.
· Maintains quality and accurate documentation of all clinical activity and progress in treatment.
· Actively involves clients in the development of discharge and referral plans.
· Provides consultation, referrals and other communication with other agencies to ensure best client outcomes.
· Effectively works with other agency personnel, such as case managers, psychiatry regarding shared clients to ensure best outcomes.
· Works with Operations Staff to ensure clients are scheduled and/or rescheduled/cancelled in a timely and efficient manner.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:EXPERIENCE:
5 years clinical experience in a multi-disciplinary, clinical team environment; post master’s level training.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to use both hands to manipulate the phones, papers or other essential office equipment. The employee is required to reach at chest level for items as well as twist as the employee is sitting. The employee will sit approximately six hours of a typical eight hour day. The employee may have to lift up to 30 lbs., but this is infrequent. The employee must be able to climb stairs on a frequent basis. The employee’s primary vehicle of work is a computer and may spend approximately 5 -6 hours daily on a computer. The employee may have to react quickly to clients in some circumstances. The work environment is an office environment.
