Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities: - Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for the organization - Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable functions - Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations - Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements - Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes - Prepare journal entries and perform bank reconciliations - Ensure compliance with governmental accounting standards and regulations - Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial analysis and support for decision-making processes - Assist with tax preparation and filing Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - Proven experience working as an Accountant or in a similar role - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations - Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software - Experience with balance sheet reconciliation, general ledger reconciliation, journal entries, and bank reconciliation - Familiarity with debits, credits, budgeting, and tax preparation - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping - Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data - Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
