Role
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. The HVAC/R Technician will install and repair commercial HVAC units and cooling equipment. The ideal candidate is hard working, committed to providing high quality service, and has a background in technical skills. This is an opportunity for a long term position and to join a growing company.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair light commercial HVAC units
- Troubleshoot issues with walk-in coolers, reach-in coolers and freezers.
- Preventative maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair and clean ice machines.
- Diagnose and repair exhaust fans.
- On-call rotation required
Qualifications
- Mechanical skillset required
- Electrical knowledge, troubleshooting experience
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Self motivation and accountability
- Friendly and professional attitude
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- Requires medical exam in accordance with DOT regulations
- Must have a good driving record with no traffic violations
- Refrigerant handling certification required
- 5 years of previous experience required
