Job Description

Part-time 1p-5p M-F
The Day Porter monitors and maintains the areas of the facility up to the client's standards.
Performs routine cleaning of administrative offices and other areas in the facility in a clean and sanitary manner. Maintain main entrance and around to the building areas, pick up debris, and cigarette butts on flowers, and gardens. Maintain all lobby entrance glass doors cleaned and fingers print-free. Maintain all restrooms from the basement to the penthouse. Replenished items as needed minimum of once in the morning and once in the afternoon. Maintain all break rooms and vending areas in the building, remove the trash, sanitizer, and all counters, tables, and chairs. Replenish paper products and hand soap as needed. Maintain all outside elevator banks and wipe down all chrome end wall spots. Maintain both emergency stairwells checked for debris, wiping down handrails and wall spots. Attend all service calls, this consists of providing labor and material to perform miscellaneous minor cleaning tasks during regular working hours and special events on time. Vacuum office areas and spot cleaning as needed. All the above-mentioned areas will be cleaned according to established procedures. At the end of the shift, equipment must be left clean and ready to use including cleaning materials.
