PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Product Stewardship is a mission critical function at Owens Corning. The successful candidate will be a strategic business partner providing global counsel to the enterprise. This role provides legal support to all three Owens Corning businesses and several corporate functions. This person will act as a key partner to product developers, marketing teams, science & technology professionals, product sustainability and quality leaders. They will provide valuable guidance on a wide variety of product stewardship issues and serve as a front-line subject matter expert on regulations and OC standards that impact our products and businesses. This person will also partner closely with law department peers, particularly in the areas of Regulatory Law and Government Affairs, Litigation, Sourcing and Business Counseling.
Reports to: Director, Product Stewardship and Compliance
Span of Control: Individual Contributor with opportunity for leadership experience in the future
