Advertised Position Title Systems Administrator/Support Specialist Job Description Summary Maintain Colleges Learning Management System and peripheral components and provide support to end users. Knowledge - Working knowledge from a system administrators perspective of Learning Management System software and related applications

- Knowledge of either scripting with a programming language or other methodologies to manage data integrations between a Student Information System (SIS ) and Learning Management System (LMS )

- Working knowledge and operation of common software packages utilized by instructors and students in the College environment

- Working knowledge and operation of various operating systems and web browsers Skills - Advanced skills in all aspects of Learning Management System software, including system administration, course tools, and data integration

- Good typing skills Skill in communicating technical information and solutions to non-technical end users Abilities - Ability to work with batch processing of files for integration with LMS

- Ability to create data integrations between Student Information Systems and a Learning Management System

- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new versions of software and convey related information to staff and end users

- Ability to effectively troubleshoot issues over the phone and email

- Ability to work efficiently unsupervised. Campus Location Toledo Associate degree or two-year technical certificate Two years experience in system admin level operation and support of a Learning Management System (LMS ), plus four years total experience in an information or educational technology field.

LMS experience should include working with and troubleshooting LMS system and course issues, LMS / SIS data integration, batch processing of user files, LTIs and integrated publisher content and resources.

Should also posses command of all current operating systems and browsers, mobile applications and operating systems,and software and plugins for video / media playback.
