Job Description: RBT / Social workers/Behavioral Technician workers are responsible for one on one teaching sessions with young children with developmental and intellectual disabilities using a variety of applied behavior analysis techniques. Individual support workers provide services at a child's home. Supervision and training is provided by the Service Coordinator and Agency BCBA. Other job requirements are listed below;
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with at least 1 year of supervised experience in implementing behavior support plans for individuals who have intellectual/developmental disabilities; or
High School Diploma or GED and at least three (3) years of supervised experience in implementing behavior support plans for individuals who have intellectual/developmentaldisabilities.
Ideal applicants should have experience teaching/working with children and/or adolescents, good interpersonal skills, be able to maintain good working relationships with families and other professionals, knowledge of developmental and intellectual disabilities, have good time management skills, and enjoy working with kids. Job specific training is provided.
Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred
Location: Multiple locations in Union, Hudson, Essex, Bergen, Passaic, Middlesex counties and many more.
