Description Job Title: Post Closer Reports To: VP, Loan Operations Department: Loan Department Supervises: None FLSA Status: Non-exempt Last Reviewed: 05/23/2024 Job Summary: Responsible for accurate and efficient compiling and processing of mortgages, commercial loans, lines of credit and contract safekeeping agreements for all branches. Essential Functions:
Track loan closing packets and assemble loan folders after closing
Prepare and input loan documentation using core system for all branches
Maintain complete and updated loan files
Review documents to ensure all appropriate areas are signed and documents are in the correct scan order
Ensure all documents sent for recording (ex: mortgage, deed, no lien) are accurate and all pages are included and correct
Follow-up that final title insurance policies are received and scan into Document Management
Ensure all disbursements/tickets are correct and balanced before moving the file to the next step.
Clear secondary market conditions. Includes requesting information from the borrower/title companies and reaching out to appropriate staff if needed.
Process 1098's to customers as necessary
Provide support for loan officers
Secondary market loan closing submission and clearing post-closing conditions
Provide quotes and process payoffs
Responsible for monthly closing report
Assist in scanning loan documents/files into Document Manager as needed
Track 2nd market income
Serve as notary
Provide professional and efficient customer and lending support as needed
Comply with Bank Secrecy Act
Other duties as assigned
Job Qualification:
High school diploma or equivalent
Computer operation and data entry experience
Experienced typist
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Requirements
High School Degree
One to three years' experience working in banking, credit unions, real estate agencies, or mortgage companies preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
