Project Manager
Reports to: Division Manager
Position Summary:
Assistant to Operations and Division Managers with the following responsibilities.
Essential Functions:
Prepares estimates /quotes for customers.
Job set ups once an order is received. Prepares requisitions for the purchasing of supplies and materials for jobs.
Creating process documents for the shop floor, electrode layouts, engineering changes
Direct Customer contact- incoming and outgoing. Helps Operations with flow of work in shop. Contacts customers with status updates and any issues with jobs on shop floor.
Keep up to date with the status of jobs in process on completeness and profitability with the Lead men and operations.
Assist in establishing new customers with sales team
Job set-up and ISO compliance.
Coordinates work between divisions and outside vendors.
Works directly with Operations Manager and Division Manager on scheduling jobs through the shop an updating on any customer issues.
This position will require once a month travel.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required. Project Management experience or equivalent work experience preferred. Engineering Tech Degree preferred. Knowledge of AutoCAD and Solidworks a must. Knowledge word, Excel a must. Minimum 3 years’ experience in related industry.
