Overtime is Hiring a Senior Communications Manager Near New York, NY
- Draft and develop internal and external materials required for announcements including press releases, pitches, media lists and other media communications
- Build and maintain relationships with media
- Draft award submissions and apply for relevant speaking engagements
- Work with the Senior Director of Communications to serve as a media liaison for local, national and international press responsible for responding to all press inquiries
- Monitor all relevant media stories involving Overtime, it’s co-founders and other industry news
- Demonstrate good judgment in escalating problems and assessing communication risk
- Continually bring new creative and strategic approaches that will optimize company objectives and goals
- Travel and facilitate events
- Other duties as assigned
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in communications, public relations, marketing, business, journalism or related field
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Analytical problem-solver who is also a self-starter
- Ability to work independently, when needed
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills; ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely
- A passion for communications and storytelling
