Job Role: Project Manager / Site Supervisor

Our new venture is seeking a Project Manager / Site Supervisor who's not only comfortable office-bound planning projects, managing budgets, and coordinating teams, but also thrives on hands-on work, skilled carpentry tasks, and getting a little dirt under their nails when necessary.

In this position, you will:

• Lead residential construction projects end-to-end, including hands-on tasks as required.
• Need to be comfortable working with plans, organizing tasks, and estimating budgets.
• Determine required equipment, materials, manpower, and participate in on-ground construction activities.
• Implement job site safety and ensure compliance with building standards.
• Effective at multitasking to handle project management and skilled carpentry tasks.
• Build positive relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Recruit and provide guidance to subcontractors while executing hands-on work alongside when required.
• Problem solve onsite, providing necessary hands-on input to maintain schedules and quality.
• Perform skilled carpentry and other manual skills as necessary on site.

Qualifications:

• An inquisitive mind that is always searching for new and exciting solutions.
• A positive outlook and attitude.
• Extensive experience in construction with a strong carpentry background. Specific experience in mountainous environments is a huge plus.
• Broad knowledge of construction procedures and project management principles.
• Comprehensive understanding of safety and building regulations.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective leadership, alongside hands-on, practical skills.
• A degree or relevant qualification in construction management, architecture, or related field is preferred. However, vast hands-on experience can substitute for formal education.
• An appreciation of authenticity and integrity of enduring craftsmanship.
