Job Duties:

• Understands sensitive and confidential nature of ART (Assisted Reproductive Technology)
• treatment.
• Complies with HIPPA privacy regulations.
• Responsible for embryology laboratory procedures as directed.
• Utilize trophectoderm biopsy, oocyte, vitrification, and complex micromanipulation.
• Handle oocytes, embryos and semen including hazardous specimens.
• Management of aseptic techniques.
• Correctly assess and grades oocyte, embryo, and sperm morphology.
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient logs and laboratory reports.
• Communicate detailed information to patients, staff, and regulatory bodies.
• Provide support for CAP inspection preparedness and inspections.
• Participate in Continuing Technical Improvement exercises.
• Maintain technical proficiency in routine laboratory procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of routine and ad hoc analyses of data relating to performance of
• the laboratory, individual technologists, and specific research projects.

This position assists in the supervision and training of at least two (2) other employees,

including Jr. Embryologists, but is NOT involved in any management (i.e., hiring, termination,

discipline, or compensation).

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Life Sciences, Biological Science, or any related field of study,

plus at least four (4) year(s) of experience in the job offered or in any related position(s) in

which the required experience was gained.

Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, and

knowledge with the following:

• ICSI process.
• Embryology and andrology laboratory procedures.
• Micromanipulation and biopsy of gametes and embryos.
