A growing Physical Therapy practice located in Leesburg, Virginia is looking for an intelligent, accurate Medical Biller. This is a full-time position. A minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing (preferably in Physical Therapy) and familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT codes is required to apply for this position.

The best candidate for the position is one who pays attention to detail and notices the trends and nuances that appear in the daily work. Accuracy and precision are traits well rewarded. We are seeking someone with great analytical and organizational skills who is intelligent, a self starter, problem solver and shows great initiative . Prior medical billing experience and knowledge of medical terminology, ICD 10 & CPT coding as well as experience with Microsoft Office, Word and Excel is required.

We are looking for a hard worker with a "get it done" attitude, being detail oriented, having high accuracy, and possessing great customer service skills. References required. You must have a strong desire to help people and a history of high ethics.

The daily duties of the position include; charge and payment entry, obtaining and tracking insurance authorizations, communication and cooperation with the physical therapists regarding coding, calling insurance companies and patients, explaining benefits to patients, working on accounts aging, claim appeals and misprocessed claims, responding to medical records requests by insurance companies, etc. .
