Job Summary: OUTFRONT Media is looking for a highly motivated individual looking to take on a challenging role. This is an exciting accounting position with a diverse set of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. This position will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will have an opportunity to work with the Accounting, Finance and Corporate groups. Responsibilities include supporting the team in various functions of the month-end close, analysis and reconciliations of accounts, opportunity to lead a group in various projects or tasks. What You'll Do: Month-end close journal entries – primarily Deferred Revenue, Accounts Receivable, General Accounting, Joint Venture Account reconciliations – various General Accounting areas Perform SOX testing Research and provide supporting documentation for account variances – Income Statement & Balance Sheet Preparation of board decks and financial packages Must have in depth understanding of all financial business cycles (i.e. cash, revenue, inventory etc.) Assist in the preparation and documentation provided to external auditors Recommend process improvements and efficiencies Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting 6-8 years of Accounting experience in either the public and private sector, a leadership role preferred Strong analytical skills Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in a windows environment (Word, PowerPoint, Etc.) Experience with Smartsheet Strong Oracle skills Knowledge of AS400 (preferred but not required) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written Strong organizational skills, ability to handle large volume details and the ability to multi-task Strong team player and who can work independently Results oriented; has formalized process improvements, by providing recommendations, developing improvement plan, and executed plan to completion To all Recruitment Agencies: OUTFRONT Media LLC does not accept agency and unsolicited resumes.
