An Apprentice Install Technician is an introductory position into the irrigation business. As an apprentice you will work with a team to learn how to build, diagnose, repair irrigation systems, and track materials used.
After 1000 hours on the job through a company paid Certification program you will study and certify on Irrigation Products, including clocks, parts and system lay out. Learn and certify on system start up and winterization. Learn to install and repair all system parts including but not limited to, nozzles, heads, and joints. Learn how to install, program and repair timers, clocks, valve boxes, diaphragms, and controls for sprinklers, including wireless (Wi-Fi controllers). Strong focus on proper care, use and maintenance of equipment and supplies and workplace safety. Proactively assist in resolving issues with customers to ensure full satisfaction.

Irrigation Foreman: (1 opening)

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and coordinate the activities of irrigation technicians and other crew members involved in installing and maintaining irrigation systems on multiple job sites.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to determine tasks required.
Inspect work performed by crew to ensure quality and compliance with standards and specifications.
Operate specialized tools and equipment to install or repair irrigation pipes, sprinkler heads, valves, pumps, and controls.
Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in irrigation systems.
Install new irrigation systems and repair or replace broken or worn components of existing systems.
Maintain inventory of parts and equipment needed for jobs.
Prepare reports and documentation related to project status, materials used, and work completed.
Determine labor and material costs for jobs and ensure work is completed within budget.
Confer with customers regarding job specifications, progress, and any issues.
Train and provide guidance to lower-level technicians.
Ensure the crew complies with safety regulations and proper work procedures. This is a leadership position in the irrigation business. As an leader you will work with qualified Irrigation Install Technicians to help them install irrigation systems, communicate with individual property owners, and track materials used.
Teach technicians on system start up and winterization. Coach technicians through process of install including all system parts including but not limited to, nozzles, heads, and joints. Learn how to install, program and repair timers, clocks, valve boxes, diaphragms, and controls for sprinklers, including wireless (Wi-Fi controllers). Strong focus on proper care, use and maintenance of equipment and supplies and workplace safety. Proactively assist in resolving issues with customers to ensure full satisfaction.
