Join our dynamic team at a leading Northern Indiana aluminum boat builder! We're seeking a talented Product Designer to contribute to the development and enhancement of our innovative marine products.

Responsibilities for the Product Designer - Outdoor Recreation Industry - Northern Indiana:

• Collaborate with Product Design Manager on the development and finalization of design concepts
• Coordinate with vendors for new product development and sourcing
• Provide recommendations for hardware and vendor components
• Assist in the selection of materials for product aesthetics (graphics, paint, interiors)
• Oversee prototyping and evaluate new designs and products
• Maintain product-related information
• Develop visual aids and work instructions for production processes
• Offer manufacturing support for all new products

Required Skills for the Product Designer - Outdoor Recreation Industry - Northern Indiana:

• Proficient in 3-D CAD, preferably Solidworks
• Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Power Point)
• Experience in the design and development of new products
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask and perform under deadline-driven environments
• Self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively in a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
