Outdoor Dimensions is Hiring a HR Clerk Near Anaheim, CA

SUMMARY:

This position will provide administrative and logistical support to the head of the Human Resources department

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

o Employee Engagement and rapport

o Recruitment administrative duties.

o Assist with onboarding:

o Driver compliance documents.

o New hire safety orientation training.

o Assist with offboarding.

o Help maintain the physical employee files. Perform daily filing as needed.

o Perform audits of employee files for missing our outdated documentation.

o Ensure all companywide documents and policies are signed, turned in and filed following a mass roll-out.

o Organize and maintain the HR storage closet.

o Scanning and attaching files electronically.

o Maintain and update spreadsheets related to:

o Assist with planning and logistics of company meetings and events.

o Manage monthly birthday activities.

o Decorate front office for all holidays.

o Manage various department meeting sign-in sheets.

o Assist with monthly dept. meetings.

o Assist with monthly Safety meetings.

o Assist with monthly benefit eligibility enrollments for new hires and rehires.

o Assist with the annual open enrollment.

o Assist with the two annual 401k enrollment meetings.

o Assist with Sexual Harassment Training every 2 years.

o Attend department meetings and company functions.

o Commitment to company core values.

o All other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma and six months related administrative experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
