Store Manager | Dickinson, ND

As a rapidly growing small business, our Store Managers wear a lot of hats. We are looking for someone that loves to be involved in the entire process and enjoys a collaborative work environment. Our store managers are the faces of Out of Town, the first person our customers recognize on the daily, and the leader our Stylists. As a Store Manager, you will focus your efforts on building and leading our great team and building relationships with customers. In this collaborative environment, you will also be given opportunities to give feedback to our buyers, create social media content, attend market trips, and so much more. We value a Store Manager that gives feedback and wants to be a part of Out of Town as a whole.

What You Will Do:

  • Your main focus is to build a team, train them, and support them in reaching sales goals
  • You will handle all HR focused duties such as; hiring, firing, new employee paperwork, submitting new hires, etc.
  • We believe in leading by example - you will also work the sales floor daily and build lasting relationships with our customers while helping them find complete outfits for events, or everyday
  • Create monthly schedules for the Stylists and manage their availability
  • Visual Merchandise the store and keep it looking fresh on a daily basis, or as new merchandise arrives
  • Create training guides, lists, processes, etc that help the team and store run smoothly
  • Order supplies as needed

Must Haves:

  • An awareness of fashion and trends, willing to try new outfit ideas
  • Excellent people and communication skills
  • Some previous leadership experience (in retail sales is a plus!)
  • Highly coachable, and open to feedback and growth
  • Adaptable and able to work in an ever-changing environment
  • Effective multi-tasker, able to juggle multiple things at once
  • Thrives on a fast-paced work environment
  • Must be willing to work some weekends, one evening per week, and some holidays
  • Willing to have hard conversations and come up with solutions from them
  • Able to spend most days on your feet for 6 hours at a time and lift 15 lbs
