Job Description

The Maintenance Tech will be required to preform general maintenance on all equipment and buildings, as well as preform repairs to all equipment and buildings. This position will also schedule any repairs, electrical, pluming with appropriate sub contractors. The Maintenance Tech will also be required to schedule all landscape needs including yardwork and snow removal. The Maintenance Tech Will also be required to ensure all annual inspections are scheduled and completed. (crane, fire risers and sprinklers, etc.)Working hours are during day shift, which is 6:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday through Thursday & 6:00 am - 11:00 am on Friday. This position works 40 hours per week.

What You Will Do:

• Effectively and efficiently follow all quality and safety procedures, as specified by Safety Data Sheets and other guides
• Set a Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and yearly preventative Maintenance schedule.
• Understand and diagnose issues so repairs can be made.
• Understand priority's to ensure the shops can maintain a good work flow.
• Be attentive to detail and quality, ensure all equipment runs properly and safe.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and managers
• Maintain all equipment and tools used on the job
• Maintain all building needs including interior & exterior.
• Notify management immediately of any problems with equipment or other observed safety risks
• All other duties as assigned

What You Will Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent, required
• 2 years experience in maintenance in a manufacturing facility.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Fluency in English; reading and speaking (Bilingual - Spanish is a plus)
• Ability to trouble shoot & diagnose issues with High Tech equipment including but not limited to (CNC's, Beam Saws, Edge Banders, High Pressure Waterjet, Dust Collection, Electrical Components, ETC)
• Experience in Setting and following detailed schedules.
• Experience in recognizing and determining priorities.
• Experience operating power tools and equipment
• Experience operating Scissor lift & Fork lifts
• Experience in Excel and other scheduling software's.
• Experience in managing budgets, and upstanding when to spend and when not to.
• Experience in Hazards waste Materials.
• Basic math skills.
• Dependability, loyalty to your workmanship, and sense of accountability.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team setting, record of good attendance.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.

• Working in a cabinet shop and counter top fabrication shop setting
• Ability to regularly lift a minimum of 75 pounds
• Regularly reading labels, signs, measuring devices, and computers
• Standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time
• Exposure to noise and dust in the shop/warehouse
• Regularly wearing PPE, including but not limited to closed-toe shoes and eye and ear protection, N95 Mask, Safety Harness,
• Lifting, pushing, and pulling equipment and products

Training:

• Some out of state training may be required as needed
• On the job training will be provided.
• Fork lift certification will be done in house.
