Job Description:
- Patient Care and Monitoring:
- Deliver direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients in an acute care setting, addressing their immediate healthcare needs and ensuring the provision of high-quality, evidence-based care.
- Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, administer medications, and implement prescribed treatments while staying vigilant for changes in their conditions, responding promptly to any signs of deterioration.
- Collaborative Teamwork:
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing education, emotional support, and regular updates on the patient's condition, fostering a collaborative and compassionate care environment.
- Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records, documenting all aspects of patient care, assessments, interventions, and responses.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and contributing to the continuity of care through clear and organized documentation.
- 1-2 year(s) of previous Bedside/Clinical experience
- ACLS/BLS issued through American Heart Association (AHA)
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Current Registered Nurse (RN License) in the state of employment or compact (multi-state) license
- Must live 50 miles from assignment location to qualify for contract. (Local Assignment available at alternate compensation package)
