Overview: 

Signalink is looking to hire a Product Owner to support The Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Engagement Operations Team as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office (PO).

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Responsible for the prioritization and validation of the development software for the Engagement Operations team
• Review and understand systems engineering concepts, designs and algorithms and providing guidance to the development team
• Work with program management in setting priorities for the capabilities and defects for the team for each product increment and sprint
• Support technical briefings and advisement to leadership on status and recommended courses of action, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts to the IFMC mission

Requirements and Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences or mathematics
• Basic understanding of Engagement Operations (EO) concepts to include engagement planning/scheduling, threat evaluation, target selection, battlespace prediction and sensor resource management
• Ability to provide oversight to EO SW development team and verify the teams work based on agreed upon acceptance criteria.
• Must be able to work directly with the Agile software developers.
• US Citizenship
• Ability to travel 10% of the time
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance

Preferred Experience and Knowledge: 

• Knowledge of IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS
• Familiar with current EO implementations in one or more of the DoD services
• Prior Product Owner experience on a SCRUM team
