Photo Studio Floor Specialist/Assistant

The Photo Studio Floor Specialist/Assistant assists with the workflow of products between warehouse(s) and studio(s), inventory, and loss prevention. This position ensures resources are in place for the efficient flow of photo studio jobs: coordinating with Studio Manager, Creative Director, Designers, Photographers, Merchants, Facility and Logistics teams for seamless execution of photography. 

Responsibilities

• Load and offload trailers.
• Furniture building and set-up.
• Assist in planning the flow of product through all stages of the studio workflow.
• Maintain and update accurate tracking reporting of Photo Studio merchandise samples.
• Build and foster positive and effective working relationships with related departments.
• Understand logistics and the availability of merchandise to meet studio timelines.
• Demonstrates proper material handling.
• Adheres to company policies and procedures.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
• Professional experience in a high volume, high production operations environment managing multiple high priority tasks with tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with BluVista is a plus.
• Inventory control knowledge.
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional projects and teams.
• Proficient with Microsoft office is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with related departments.
• Ability to use two-wheel hand truck, four-wheel dolly, pallet jack, power tools, gloves, box cutters and ladder.
• Prior experience in lifting, loading, unloading and/or assembling furniture is preferred.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Strong professional communication skills both verbally and written to associates, supervisors, and management.
• Strong professional relationships with others.
• Ability to adhere to safety lifting procedures.
• Ability to resolve conflict.
• Ability to handle equipment safely.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift/carry: Over 50lbs 1-6 Ft. Please note: Anything over 50 lbs. or of an awkward size or nature requires the use of a two-person lift and/or the use of assistive devices.
