Job Description:

Job Summary: 

Responsible for providing food and beverages to players on the course, in addition to various requests from the Clubhouse that golfers may need during their round. Members should receive professional, prompt and friendly service throughout their golf round.

Job Tasks and Duties: Includes, but not limited to:

• Clock in on time. Follow proper procedures for bad weather conditions.
• Must be in clean, neat uniform, at all times.
• Hair past collar length must be restrained.
• Perform daily opening and closing inventory. Inventory sheets must be dated, signed and turned in with closing paperwork.
• Must check with F& B or Manager on duty before leaving the property.
• Maintain an inventory sheet that reflects daily sales.
• Check expiration dates on food and beverage products in beverage cart storeroom. Rotate and organize products and inform management to order new products when necessary based on par levels.
• Confirm cart is fully operational before starting rounds, (gas, air in tires, oil etc.). as questions if not sure.
• Carts must be kept clean at all times.
• Must have knowledge of proper golf course etiquette.
• Serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with California Law.
• Keep beer coolers and snack boxes clean and organized.
• Must be available to work, weekends and major holidays.
• Must attend beverage cart meetings and safety training classes.
• Follow all Safety guidelines.

Other Requirements and Work Availability:

Must have California Responsible Beverage (RBS) Training | State Food Safety and Food Handlers Certificate (Training done onsite) - Applicants must have a clear DMV Report and a valid Driver License. Must be 21 years of age. Prolong hours outdoors, expose sunlight, cold weather, rain, and chemicals. Available to work weekends, holidays, morning, and afternoon hours as well special events.
