Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
- Match received items to purchase orders, ensuring that all goods have been accounted for
- Unpack and organize items in the warehouse, ensuring efficient storage and easy accessibility
- Ensure received items are labeled and stored correctly, following the company's inventory management procedures
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate the movement and organization of received items
- Coordinate with suppliers and shipping carriers to resolve any discrepancies or issues with incoming shipments
- Maintain accurate documentation of received items and update inventory records in the system
- Assist with regular inventory counts and audits
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Prior experience in a receiving or warehouse role preferred
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to accurately match items to purchase orders and verify their condition
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed
- Knowledge of forklift operation and certification is a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)
