Social Media Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Develop relevant, original, high-quality social media content for all of the Ministry and Outreach Center social media accounts.
- Assist in carrying out our social media strategy
- Actively engage the audience through private messaging responses, comments, likes
- Provide constructive feedback
- Promote content through social advertising
- Measure the success of social media posts and campaigns
- Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices, tools, and technologies
- Collaborate with Video, Graphics and other Creative teams on various Social Media projects
- Assist in strategically identifying and maintaining Social Media and Photo Team volunteers
- Schedule volunteers in Planning Center
- Cull through Photo Team photos and sermon transcriptions to develop future content
- Define and track social media analytics
- 2 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or a similar role
- Excellent knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tik Tok, Youtube, and other social media platforms
- Experience with doing audience research
- Good understanding of social media analytics
- Must have leadership skills
- Must have a positive attitude
- Must have a background in dealing with social media
- Must have a background in dealing with young people
- Must be in the surrounding areas of Baton Rouge
