Our Blood Institute is Hiring an INVENTORY & LOGISTICS SUPERVISOR (LAWTON, OK) Near Lawton, OK

Inventory and Logistics SupervisorOur Blood Institute is actively seeking qualified candidates for a rewarding career saving lives. This position is responsible for supervising staff and coordinating the pickup and delivery of processed and unprocessed blood, blood related products, equipment, and supplies to/from hospitals, mobile blood drives, and other pre-determined sites. We are a highly regulated organization that embraces structure by following set rules and regulations.

Location: Lawton, OK
Pay: Competitive pay based on education and/or experience with shift differential and $500 bonus after 6 months and $1,000 bonus after 1 year!Benefits: Health, dental, vision, life insurance, long term disability, 401(k), paid-time off, $5,000 annual tuition reimbursement, holiday pay, etc.
Days and Hours: Varied (days, evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays).
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must have a valid Arkansas driver license
  • Driving record must have no moving violations or accidents within the last three years. A copy of driving record must be provided at interview
  • Advanced and applicable knowledge of component manufacturing and storage and distribution functions
  • Strong leadership ability
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Able to work well with people and promote team performance
  • Good communication skills and professional demeanor
  • Computer skills required
Primary Responsibilities
  • Supervise job performance and workload for Storage & Distribution staff at the local subcenter
  • Coordinate blood pickups according to mobile and local draw information and component manufacturing requirements
  • Coordinate with main center and surrounding centers concerning blood pick-up and delivery schedule on a daily basis
  • Perform stock change outs per schedule
  • Maintain communication with transfusion facilities and blood usage centers for product inventory management
  • Investigate issues and events related to Storage and Distribution
  • Train staff in all job performance functions, including computer use for Storage & Distribution department
  • Perform staff scheduling steps for Storage & Distribution
  • Write annual review for subcenter Inventory Management staff
  • Perform other job duties as requested
