Responsibilities:

  • Building a clinically and financially sound practice that you own with as much (or as little) support as you want.
  • Choosing the size of your patient panel and the number of hours you work.
  • Allotting longer-than-average appointment times.
  • Treating patients by text, video call, phone call, and optionally in-person (at your discretion).
  • Establishing long-lasting relationships with patients.
  • Practicing autonomously with support from specialists and physicians as needed.
  • Prioritizing preventive care and supporting positive lifestyle changes.
  • Operating in an affordable membership-based model without insurance. This eliminates obstacles to care for the patient and the clinician.
  • Leveraging all of your unique clinical competencies.
  • Using Otto's platform to help patients navigate the healthcare system in a cost-effective, high-quality manner.

What is the day-to-day?

  • Conducting visits for routine, urgent, chronic, and preventive health needs.
  • Crafting comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Educating patients on health conditions, care plans, and wellness.
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.
  • Prescribing both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies.
  • Coordinating care with specialists to ensure comprehensive patient support.
  • Utilizing your specific clinical training to perform in-office procedures and interventions (as desired).
  • Working with a dedicated Patient Acquisition Consultant and using Otto's playbook and technology to build a patient panel. For example, this may include establishing local partnerships and building a presence online.

Qualifications:

  • A valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
  • A passion for delivering patient-centric primary care.
  • Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care.
  • Comfort with or willingness to learn technology to deliver high-quality care.
  • An openness to receive and deliver feedback to gain productive insight.
  • The ability to confidently navigate uncertain situations with both patients and colleagues.
  • A willingness to adapt to meet the needs of your patients and your practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Grit and a can-do attitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $122,184.00 - $219,560.00 per year

Expected hours: 2 – 60 per week
