Overview

Otter Products is looking for a Content Marketing Manager to join our team in Fort Collins, CO.

The Content Marketing Manager will be a steward of Brand voice and messaging to support content marketing efforts across the business. This critical role requires a creative and imaginative individual who owns the strategy and creation of original, provocative, and engaging content that also drives business growth. From conception to execution, they will deliver bodies of work across major customer and consumer touchpoints in line with Brand communication calendars. This role is responsible for helping develop and deliver the content marketing strategy, inclusive of all assets, to support channel needs and the consumer journey to enable us to deliver integrated campaigns, generate pipeline, and support customer growth and expansion. The ideal candidate operates with a growth mindset, a data-informed approach, strong collaboration skills, customer focused, and a relentless drive to deliver results.

Responsibilities

  • Partner across the entire Marketing team (and wider organization) to drive our Communication calendar and Content roadmap, reach our target audiences, and execute against content KPIs within assigned channels and categories.
  • Own strategy, process, planning, and execution of content in alignment with key touchpoints across Channel and Brand Communication calendars with inputs from cross-functional Marketing, Sales and Product counterparts. This includes but is not limited to utilizing internal Creative resources, agencies and other outside content creators (influencers) to meet the asset requirements of the calendar.
  • Partner with Product Marketing on new product and category launches to align on scope of support and content needs for go-to-market activations.
  • Partner closely with Social Media, Digital and Ecomm to further establish and execute content pillars, calendars and traffic strategies.
  • Partner with Digital and Insights teams to align content strategy to latest trends, data and best practices.
  • Partner with Partnerships team to align key strategic partnerships into overall Brand Communications calendar.
  • Act as support and thought leader in strategy and content opportunities with Channel Marketing around customer specific programs.
  • Build reporting and generate insights on content marketing projects and channel performance to support revenue growth.
  • Uphold Brand and regulatory standards in all internal and external facing content.
  • Assist in ownership and leverage content and freelance budgets as applicable.
  • Partner with internal Creative, agency partners and/or outside creators on development (scriptwriting, production, editing) and asset requirements for placement across owned and paid platforms for channel and consumer consumption. Responsible for brand consistency across all outputs.
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing Project Management team on management of assets including approvals, trafficking and management of asset library and usage rights.
  • Support and maintain a positive safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures and actively contributing to a safe working environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent is required
  • Minimum of three years of experience in content, brand or marketing communications required
