Overview

Otter Products is currently recruiting for a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer. This role will be based in our Fort Collins, CO office with a hybrid schedule. 

As the Business Intelligence (BI) Developer you will focus on the creation and management of business intelligence (BI) reports and dashboards. You will utilize knowledge of the organization and processes to translate business needs into technical specifications and build BI solutions accordingly. In this cross functional role, you will incorporate end user requests and requirements to develop enterprise data models, reporting solutions, and support the user community in the use of business intelligence (BI) tools to query files and databases for reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain BI reports and structured and unstructured dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.
  • Ensure the highest standards of data governance and documentation throughout the BI solution lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret business requirements, translating them into effective BI strategies.
  • Provide ongoing support and enhancements to existing BI solutions, adapting to changing business needs.
  • Deliver reports to all levels of the organization, effectively communicating complex data insights in an understandable manner.
  • Prepares and manipulates data using Microsoft Power BI, Data Modeling, Azure, and the Microsoft reporting application stack (SharePoint, Power Pivot, Power View).
  • Collaborate with other developers to create and implement best approach solution(s).
  • Participate and support the design and documentation of processes for large scale data analyses, model development, model validation and model implementation.
  • Support and maintain a positive safety culture by following all safety policies and procedures and actively contributing to a safe working environment.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics preferred. Experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
  • Minimum of four years of experience in a Data or analytical role required.
  • Experience in database development, report writing and/or statistics preferred.
  • Experience working with Power BI, Power Query, and DAX preferred
  • Working knowledge of SQL, Azure, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS preferred

USD $90,000.00/Yr.

For US Based Roles Only - Base Compensation Range Maximum

USD $113,000.00/Yr.
