The Internal Audit Senior Manager is an exciting and challenging opportunity for a dynamic finance professional who seeks to build on their existing Accounting and Finance experience through in-depth exposure to fast-paced international businesses with a focus on risk assessment and the design and on-going assessment of internal controls and processes to address financial and operational risks. This position reports to the Otis Director of Internal Audit. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Participation in engagement planning, execution and completion of internal audits of varying nature and scope (e.g., financial, operational, compliance/strategic or other value added projects). Participation in the development of a short and long-term strategy to use data analytics and continuous controls monitoring to proactively mitigate risks. Identification and implementation of tools and technology in the audit process to drive data analytics strategy to deliver efficiency and improved management insight. Identification of audit observations, including risk and root/cause, and provide recommendations to management to address the underlying risk. Review audit reports for quality and consistency with Otis standards including assessment of agreed upon management actions for adequacy and practicality. Assist in communication and resolution of audit observations and process improvements including involvement of Otis functional risk owners/subject matter experts as necessary. Apply first-hand knowledge of Otis financial and corporate policies throughout audit engagement and contribute to broader team development and understanding of such policies including with co-source internal audit provider (EY). Coordinate review of executive presentations for Audit Committee meetings. Supervise Otis intern during summer months and set performance goals and timelines while providing guidance throughout internship. Education / Certifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related business disciplines CPA (or equivalent) preferred Experience / Qualifications: 5-8 years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, controls or financial planning & analysis Strong business acumen and ability to work effectively across all levels and functions Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills Strong interpersonal skills; oral and written communication skills Demonstrate intellectual curiosity and willingness to ask probing questions Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, PowerPoint and TEAMS) Ideal candidate will have prior audit and/or controls experience Travel will be required (10-20%).
