Oswego Health is Hiring a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Outpatient) Near Oswego, NY

Position Description: Oswego Health is seeking a board certified/board eligible Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join the Lobdell Center for Mental Health & Wellness at Lakeview managing youth and/or adult outpatient psychiatric services. The candidate will work as a physician extender to deliver comprehensive patient care in an outpatient setting. The incoming Psych NP will work in collaboration with physicians and APP’s to assess, diagnose and develop a plan of care in accordance with practice protocols. This candidate in collaboration with a therapist, will be responsible for obtaining complete medical histories and performing physical examinations in the outpatient setting for the youth and/or adult population, ordering appropriate diagnostic tests, completing medication management and making referrals for specialty consultations and care. Prior experience is not required as Oswego Health welcomes new grads.
