The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring top notch customer service on our sales floor, and learn about all things retail medical equipment! Team Member Responsibilities:

· Proficient in verbal and written English language.

· Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.

· Solid communication and interpersonal skills.

· Basic understanding and ability to use a computer and/or other related forms of technology.

· Ability to read, write and effectively communicate with customers, peers and management.

· Telephone etiquette including answer and direct/transfer phone to multiple areas of the store.

· Ability to multi-task, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business.

· Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision.

· Having a general knowledge of the store and products.

· Reading the employee handbook and obeying store policies.

· Knowing when to contact a superior for help.

· Anything asked of you by a superior.

· Enthusiastic, friendly and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a retail business environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching throughout the day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items that weigh more than 75 pounds.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

Days and hours of work vary by schedule. Evening and weekend work are required as the schedule demands. Common weekday shifts include 9am-5pm, 12pm-8pm or 4pm-8pm. Weekend shifts range between 9am-6pm. The right candidate will be eligible for a full time position.

Required Education and Experience:

• Previous retail or customer service experience
• Experience in the retail medical equipment industry a plus
