PCSH Summer Support Program Coordinator General Purpose of Job: To inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage, and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning. Responsibilities:Position provides instruction and support; makes appropriate use of instructional resources and technologies. In addition, implements the goals and objectives of the District and the school and/or program for which employed, writes and implements individual student goals and objectives, maintains contact and communications with parents of students and works with them in the development of each student. Required Qualifications: Valid MN teaching license. Desired Qualifications:
Considerable knowledge of students' learning styles and needs, both academic and affective.
Working knowledge of instructional technologies.
Considerable skill in classroom/meeting management and organization.
Ability to effectively facilitate and/or participate in team meetings and parent meetings.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
Considerable knowledge of multicultural, gender and disability fair curriculum concepts.
Job Duties/Tasks: Coordinator reports directly to the Assistant Principal/Principal and is responsible for the following:
In cooperation with other staff, maintain the well-being of students in the program.
Use classroom and behavior management plans.
Conduct individual conferences with students and/or parents as needed
Support in communications with families.
Promote effective use of time and materials, and set standards for student accountability.
Providing support to staff by managing data and upkeep of paperwork toward credit attainment.
Other duties as assigned by Principal
Hours: Approximately, 4 hours/day; 4 days/week (M-Th). Employment Dates: June 12 - June 29, 2023
