OSS is Hiring an EMT Near Zanesville, OH

OSS Inc., an established contract security guard company with over 50 years of experience, is looking for dependable, hard-working security officers in the Zanesville, OH area.

OSS Inc. security guards are fully uniformed, unarmed and trained.

$20 an hour.

40 hours a week, afternoon shift 2 pm to 10 pm.

About the Position and Responsibilities:

The purpose of this position is to protect the lives and property of a Steel Manufacturing facility in Zanesville, OH by enforcing all company guidelines and procedures that are set in place. This position provides assistance and support to the Steel Manufacturing facility with a variety of emergency and non-emergency needs including but not limited to firefighting, fire prevention, company safety education, hands-on training, emergency medical services, confined space rescue teams, and hazardous materials response.

Requirements:

· Eighteen years of age

· High school diploma or GED equivalent

· U.S. Citizenship or Naturalization

· Ability to speak and write English

· Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods

· The ability to with stand hot and cold temperatures

· Pass background check

· Valid Driver’s License

· Willingness to work rotating shifts

· Acceptable 3-year driving record

· Must have a state EMT or EMR Certification or equivalent

· Honorable or Uncharacterized discharge from a military branch if applicable

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Evening shift
  • Night shift
  • Weekends as needed
