About this Opportunity:
We're seeking an experienced Auto Body & Paint Technician to join us immediately. This isn't your average gig — our shop is bustling with projects, and we need someone with at least 10 years of proven experience, reliable transportation, and a strong work ethic. Starting pay ranges from $25 to $35 per hour, based on skill, experience, accuracy, and speed.
Responsibilities:
- Perform bodywork, prep, sanding, masking, taping, priming, painting, and final presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of paint booths
- Utilize various tools, equipment, and materials as needed
- Ensure organization and cleanliness of work area
- Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear
- Collaborate effectively with team members
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of verifiable experience in auto body and paint
- Proficiency in auto body repair and paint techniques and tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Friendly, personable demeanor with well-groomed appearance
- Willingness to perform other duties as needed
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform tasks as required
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:
This position involves occasional physical activity in a shop environment, including exposure to fumes, chemicals, and noise. Protective equipment is provided as necessary. Visual acuity is required for accurate work.
