Oso Pediatric Dentistry is Hiring a General Dentist Near Oxnard, CA

About us

We are a fun, professional and engaging small private Pediatric Dental office. Our goal is to keep our patient flow growing at all times while incorporating general dentistry for the older children who have advanced from their pediatric dental journey to their adult dental journey. We are looking for a GENERAL DENTIST who would love to join our team to help continue achieving great oral health in our young adolescents..

Responsibilities:
- Perform dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canals
- Diagnose and treat oral diseases and conditions
- Develop treatment plans for patients based on their oral health needs
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress during and after treatment
- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to provide comprehensive dental care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a dentist
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus, general dentistry is required
- Proficiency in medical coding for accurate billing and insurance claims
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols
- Familiarity with dental systems such as Eaglesoft, CAD/CAM systems, and medical imaging software (e.g., Epic)
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and oral health conditions

- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff
- Attention to detail for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
- Strong manual dexterity for performing precise dental procedures
