The Job: Inspire, motivate and transform others as one of our rock star Yoga Instructors. Come be a part of our awesome fitness team in our state-of-the-art Goldman Sports and Wellness Complex – the destination for all your Health, Fitness and Wellness needs!

The Classes : The OFJCC is seeking experienced yoga instructors to augment our staff on a substitute basis. We offer over 35 yoga classes per week including Chair Yoga, Gentle Yoga, Hatha, Vinyasa and Power Vinyasa. Searching for rock star instructors that have experience in teaching a wide variety of yoga classes.

The Core Duties:

• Lead safe, motivating group yoga classes in accordance with OFJCC policies and procedures
• Provide appropriate modifications and progressions for a wide range of fitness levels
• Deliver excellent and courteous customer service to members
• Lead classes with clear and concise instruction that are easy for the participants to follow
• Before and after each instructed class, ensure that the Yoga studio is well maintained, adequately equipped and organized
• Maintain active certification in a recognized certifying organization, such as the Yoga Alliance
• Stay up to date on current trends in Yoga classes
• Promote the group fitness schedule by encouraging class participants to try other fitness classes
• Communicate with Group Exercise Manager on member feedback, equipment needs and operational status, scheduling, and subbing

The Essentials:

• Experienced Instructor with RYT 200 or RYT 500 certification
• Confident in your professionalism and a passion to motivate others
• Current CPR/AED certification
• Working knowledge of human anatomy, kinesiology and training principals
• Excellent communication skills
• Extensive knowledge of classes being taught
• Collaborative and a flexible leader in and out of the studio
• Demonstrate a commitment to professionalism through ongoing education, maintaining quality standards, and continual evaluation.
