Expected pay for this position is $21.30 - $25.05/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
POSITION SUMMARY: Maintenance II performs a variety of the more complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC tasks. This position also aids other skilled tradespersons in the completion of complex tasks such as the installation of new equipment and trouble-shooting and repair of building systems and equipment. This position requires detailed knowledge of and the ability to operate and maintain the facility’s major mechanical systems such as heating, cooling, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, communication, and fire protection.
QualificationsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School/GED
Experience: 2 years of performing or assisting with Preventative Maintenance of HVAC equipment, not requiring a license i.e.; bearing grease, filter replacement and lubrication of dampers 2 years experience in repair and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks. Other skills/knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
