Excellent opportunity to join a team-oriented group of APPs and Neurologists caring for general neurology patients (dementia, neuropathy, headache, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, and other neurological diagnoses). Practice consists of 2 Neurologists and 2 APPs. Our neurology program is committed to educating, training, and mentoring APPs!

Position Details: 

• Monday through Friday 0800-1630. No weekends.
• The APP (Advanced Practice Provider) performs the following tasks: 
  • Obtain a patient history 
  • Perform a physical examination 
  • Conduct a comprehensive assessment 
  • Order, conduct and interpret diagnostic tests 
  • Formulate a diagnostic impression 
  • Develop and implement a treatment plan 
  • Monitor the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions 
  • Prescribe pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments
  • Facilitate appropriate consultations and referrals 
  • Provide counseling and education to meet patient needs
• Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives
