Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Host. As a Host/Host, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment and contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities:

- Greet guests with a warm and friendly welcome as they arrive at the restaurant

- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus

- Assist in seating arrangements to ensure efficient use of dining space

- Answer phone calls and assist with carry out orders

- Manage waitlists and estimate wait times accurately

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station

- Collaborate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operation of the dining area

- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest concerns or special requests promptly and professionally

- Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and management to ensure a positive dining experience

Requirements:

- Previous experience in customer service or a similar role is preferred

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests and team members

- Proficient in phone etiquette and handling reservations

- Knowledge of restaurant operations and food service procedures is a plus

- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar restaurant management software is an advantage

- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
