About the Role

The Manager, Global Marketing is responsible for leading Global Marketing initiatives for new launches and ongoing business in the Complexion category. This position helps support and drive brand strategy with the Director of Global Marketing to create long term brand equity, maximize growth potential and drive long term brand profitability.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist the Global Marketing Director in developing the 3-5 year strategy of the brand
    • Analyze the brand's business with the support of the Global Director and identify growth opportunities.
    • Provide brand and competitive data pulls & insights to support strategic discussions and ideation with Product development.
    • Execute tasks related to reformulation, repackaging, and reworks to be phased in
    • Manage projects supporting the Director, Global Marketing
  • Support the new product development process partnering with cross-functional teams.
    • Gather all necessary content for launch strategy decks.
    • Help analyze and manage product COGs to ensure favorable profitability to the brand.
    • Provide brand and competitive insights supporting alignment on pricing.
    • Support the execution of the sampling strategy in partnership with operational marketing.
    • Lead preparation of the forecasting decks to guide markets at time of forecast, issue forecast guidelines and support forecast analysis (samples vs. saleable...)
    • Develop all briefs (item set up, product development, packaging, creative, visual merchandising, asset development across all areas of deployment)
    • Support Director in creation and sending of key documents (Launch strategy decks, forecasting decks, Launch reports, Global Memos…)
  • Support Director in the creation of full 360 programs for each launch by defining a best-in-class launch and activation strategies and tools that best express the concept.
    • Think digitally first in their execution of any project.
    • Ensure high standard of execution and consistency of message across all consumer-facing material (copy & visual – name - leaflet – press file – films – face charts …) and across internal documents (bulletin, education material, marketing decks…).
    • Partner closely with Creative and attend photoshoots as needed.
    • Ensure the availability & tracking of material for photography.
    • Coordinate with Product Development, Creative and Packaging to organize preparation and delivery of all presentation material.
    • Support the Director and VP on creation of retailer presentations, In the Kitchen and presentations to the Executive committee and Global Conferences.

Qualifications

  • College degree, 5 years of work experience in global beauty marketing
  • Passionate about the beauty industry
  • Must have experience working on the complexion category
  • Strong global business background
  • Passionate, creative thinker with the ability to generate on brand ideas, be a key contributor to new product idea, and with deep sensitivity to makeup
  • Proactive and anticipatory work ethic
  • Strong sense of the digital and social media landscape
  • An energetic team-oriented individual with interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking skills, ability to structure presentations
  • Strong project management skills, structured, sense of respect of timeline
  • Attention to details, ability to work independently, reliable.
  • A strong sense of urgency, ability to manage details and projects while responding to changing priorities and feedback in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must possess strong organization, prioritization with a proven ability to multi-task and manage complexity.
  • Strong oral, written, communication and presentation skills.
  • Must have strong presentation skills.
  • Must have sophisticated visual PowerPoint presentation aesthetics.
  • Software expertise – MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Pay Transparency  - One of our values is Stark Honesty and the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position.

At Orveon Global, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications.

The pay range for this position is $83,000 – $133,000. Supplemented with all the amazing benefits above for full-time employees!
