OrthoSquad, LLC is a growing durable medical equipment company seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team.

We are looking for a reliable person with a general understanding of medical billing, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Excellent phone, computer and organizational skills are required. This position involves verifying insurance benefits, submitting and providing follow up on insurance prior authorizations, billing claims, and providing support to sales representatives and referral sources.

Job responsibilities include:

• Verify insurance benefits for incoming orders
• Scrub claims for accuracy and communicate with referral sources to obtain needed information
• Process insurance authorizations
• Prepare and submit billing data and medical claims via billing software
• Communicate with sales representatives to ensure seamless delivery of medical equipment to patients
• Answer office telephone
• Reorder products as needed

Requirements:

• Detail oriented and organized
• Reliable

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Familiar with medical terminology, preferably
• Productivity driven

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
