Orthopedic Specialists of SW Florida’s state-of-the-art, 36,000 square-foot facility incorporates the latest in leading-edge technology in order to provide optimal care for patients who have bone, joint, muscle and spine problems. Our office includes five Centers of Excellence and a full Physical Therapy and Occupational/Hand Therapy division, which work in close coordination with our physicians to provide non-operative, preoperative, post-operative and preventive care.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage an independent office schedule with physician support as needed

  • Evaluate and treat spine patients, covering new problems, follow-ups, and pre/post-operative care

  • Obtain, compile, and record comprehensive patient medical data

  • Monitor and report changes in patient condition, interpreting diagnostic test results

  • Order and conduct diagnostic tests, prescribe treatments, and maintain detailed patient records

  • Collaborate with the healthcare team for comprehensive patient care assessments and planning

  • Contribute to a team healthcare approach through quality work, effective documentation, and collaboration with colleagues

Qualifications:

  • Florida licensed as Physician Assistant or APRN

  • 2-5 years of professional clinical experience
