Our practice boasts a team of 16 fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons specializing in various subspecialities. Orthopedic Specialists of SW Florida’s state-of-the-art, 36,000 square-foot facility incorporates the latest in leading-edge technology in order to provide optimal care for patients who have bone, joint, muscle and spine problems. Our office includes five Centers of Excellence and a full Physical Therapy and Occupational/Hand Therapy division, which work in close coordination with our physicians to provide non-operative, preoperative, post-operative and preventive care.
Responsibilities:
Manage an independent office schedule with physician support as needed
Evaluate and treat spine patients, covering new problems, follow-ups, and pre/post-operative care
Obtain, compile, and record comprehensive patient medical data
Monitor and report changes in patient condition, interpreting diagnostic test results
Order and conduct diagnostic tests, prescribe treatments, and maintain detailed patient records
Collaborate with the healthcare team for comprehensive patient care assessments and planning
Contribute to a team healthcare approach through quality work, effective documentation, and collaboration with colleagues
Qualifications:
Florida licensed as Physician Assistant or APRN
2-5 years of professional clinical experience
