POSITION: Medical Assistant

Job Summary

• Provide exceptional care to patients with orthopaedic conditions
• Assist physicians with examinations, treatments, and procedures
• Administer medications and perform various therapeutic treatments as required
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans

Responsibilities

1. Evaluate and assess patients' physical and emotional conditions
2. Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times
3. Educate patients and their families on proper self-care techniques and procedures
4. Monitor and document vital signs and other relevant health information
5. Sends in prescriptions to pharmacies as directed by provider and document call
6. Assist in the coordination of patient care activities, including diagnostics and referrals
7. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust treatment plans
8. Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families
9. Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment
10. Stay updated on current practices and procedures
