Kansas City Orthopedic Institute (KCOI) is the first and only hospital solely dedicated to Orthopedics. In 2021 KCOI merged with several orthopedic clinic practices which formed the Kansas City Orthopedic Alliance (KCOA). We are a growing organization expanding both our practice locations and rehab locations.
We are seeking a strong experienced individual to join our accounting team as the Clinic Accounts Receivable and Payments Supervisor. Qualifications include experience in medical billing, knowledge of medical coding and reimbursement, payment posting and AR follow-up. Strong customer service and computer skills. Healthcare clinic supervisory experience and medical billing, follow-up and payment posting experience preferred. We offer a competitive compensation and benefit package based on experience.
Responsibilities include supervising the clinical AR staff, knowledge of CPT codes and modifiers, national billing regulations and payer billing rules. Emphasis on leading the team to achieve and maintain best practice AR metrics.
