Job Description:

Our Orthodontic Assistants are our Aligner specialists. As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will be an integral part of creating beautiful smiles for our patients. You will be part of a dynamic team of orthodontic professionals who are passionate about providing excellent care. You will be responsible for providing support to our Orthodontist and assisting in the chair-side procedures. Your duties will include preparing patients for their treatment, sterilizing instruments, taking digital radiographs, and assisting with chairside procedures.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Greet and prepare patients for clear aligner appointments.
• Assist with the evaluation of patients for clear aligner treatment suitability, by taking digital scans, X-rays and photographs.
• Provide chairside assistance during clear aligner procedures, including bonding attachments, placing auxiliaries, and providing guidance to patients on aligner use.
• Educate patients on clear aligner treatment procedures, the importance of proper oral hygiene, and the care of their clear aligners.
• Provide support to patients via Dental Monitoring platform and other technologies.
• Follow strict infection control protocols, including sterilization of instruments and equipment before and after use, to maintain a safe and hygienic clinical environment.
• Manage patient records and update charts.
• Maintain a clean office environment.
• Participate in marketing and community outreach events.
• Support Store Manager in administrative duties as assigned.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Orthodontic assisting (2 year required)
• Availability on Saturdays
• High School Diploma of GED
• Certificate of completion for Orthodontic Assistant Courses (preferred)
• Ability to learn quickly and efficiently
• Ability to multitask
• Be professional, organized, and have strong attention to detail
• Have excellent communication skills
• Must have experience using digital patient management software

Full-time

Tuesday- Friday 11:00am to 7:00pm

Saturdays 11:00am to 5:00pm
