OrthoDental Inc is Hiring a Front Desk Receptionist Near Gallup, NM

Receptionist position available now! OrthoDental Inc. is now hiring a patient ambassador at our Gallup location. Our team provides a positive, energetic & professional environment with an opportunity for growth. You may be required to cross-train in other job duties and assist in areas where help is needed. Salary commensurate with experience. Effective communication with the doctors and other management personnel is a must!

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment schedule
- Collect patient information and update records in the computer system
- Assist with insurance verification and billing processes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Provide administrative support to the dental office staff as needed

Skills:
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong typing and data entry skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in computerized systems and managing electronic records
- Previous experience as a health receptionist is preferred, but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 39 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
