Ortho Dermatologics is Hiring a Communications Specialist Near Bridgewater, NJ

This position will be part of a growing Corporate Communications team at Bausch Health and will report to the Manager of Internal Communications, with the primary responsibility for creating and executing communications and digital strategies in support of the corporate function in a fast-paced growing global organization.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support the creation and management of communications – internal and external
  • Focus on developing and maintaining digital elements supporting the communications strategy: manage project plans and timelines
  • Maintain consistency of key messages across the board by working collaboratively with internal stakeholders
  • Maintaining and applying company-wide editorial, brand guidelines across channels/platforms, etc.
  • Conduct research and provide support and assistance in coordinating communication processes
  • Maintain and update the organization's digital platforms
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, methods, and features of digital communications that will help achieve overall integrated communications strategy objectives

A successful candidate possesses:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3-4 years of digital communications experience in a professional setting (in-house or agency), pharmaceutical/healthcare experience a plus, but not necessary
  • Experience working on multiple projects at a time, using strong communication skills to manage expectations appropriately
  • Tech-savvy with strong writing, editing and verbal editing skills and an understanding of metrics/measurement
  • Proficiency in design in MS Office Suite, HTML and/or other web content platforms
  • Self-motivated collaborator with strong project management skills
  • Flexible and agile, able to respond to shifting priorities to best meet the needs of the business
  • Outstanding level of attention to detail
