Ortco Inc is Hiring a Laborer Near Orange, CA

Ortco Inc has immediate openings for Laborers in the Southern California area. This position is perfect for an individual looking to advance their skill set and invest in their future in the playground industry.

We're looking for an individual who not only has the knowledge and experience, but who thrives in a small business atmosphere and enjoys being a team player.

Ability to :

  • Perform basic construction, modification, maintenance, and repair work.
  • Troubleshoot maintenance problems and determine materials and supplies required for repair.
  • Safely and effectively use and operate hand tools, mechanical equipment, power tools, and light to heavy equipment required for the work.
  • Maintain accurate logs, records, and basic written reports of work performed.
  • Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Organize own work, set priorities, and meet critical time deadlines.
  • Use English effectively to communicate in person, over the telephone or radio, and in writing.
  • Establish, maintain, and foster positive and harmonious working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.

Requirements :

  • At least 1 year experience in the construction industry.
  • OSHA 10 Hour Certificate preferred.
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate preferred.
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.
  • Ability to work with up to 75 lbs. on a routine basis.
